The dramatic transformation of this Bethesda, MD home was more about style than square footage. A sizable home, the goal was not to add unnecessary space but, instead, make the best possible use of the space that already existed. Equally important was the desire to add drama to the homes non-descript exterior. The ornate style of Italianate Architecture was a perfect fit, adding eye-catching details that unify the homes exterior, while expressing the family’s American and Italian heritages.
