You’ve seen it in almost every older neighborhood. Someone is tearing-down a modest home to make way for a McMansion, insensitive to the scale of the surrounding homes, and incredibly wasteful of resources. Why not recycle the structure of the existing house- searching for its best attributes and incorporating them into an updated design. This was the case for this Potomac, MD rambler. A creative mixture of old and new blend seamlessly together to transform this home inside and out.
