Rather than simply screening the existing porch of this Washington, DC home, our clients sought a much more expressive solution. Only 5’deep, the existing porch was impractical for even the smallest of gatherings. Incorporating natural materials detailed with furniture-like precision, the enlarged screen porch is as sculptural as it is functional.
