Washington, DC Rear Addition

Believe it or not, the renovation of this Washington, DC home began with our client’s desire to simply replace the front door. From there conversations quickly branched out to address several challenges posed by the home’s narrow footprint. Today, a new 2-story addition graces the back of the house; with an open concept kitchen and gathering space on the first floor and a new master suite above… Oh yeah, we also replaced the front door.
